Megan and Marc's Wedding. Triton, Newfoundland.
I met Megan and Marc for the first time the day before their wedding in beautiful Triton in Nortre Dame Bay, Newfoundland. They're my favourite kind of couple; kind, considerate, down to earth, inviting, yet confident! After working away for a considerable time they came 'back home' to have their wedding.
You see, there are two types of Newfoundlanders. There are those who've lived here all of their lives. They often don't appreciate Newfoundlands beauty, both natural and manmade. And there those who've lived away from home for a period of time. This second type of Newfoundlander usually appreciate the things that make Newfoundland Newfoundland; things like wharves and stages, the shore, Uncle John's wood pile, etc. They are the ones who upon arriving home put their nose up, take a great big whiff of salt water air, and rejoice.
When asked what kind of photos they would favour they replied that they wanted them to show the beauty of home.
We're off to a great start!
